Les Granits Saint Joseph Red Etoile du Nord

Mainly located on granitic terraces with steep slopes, Saint Joseph appellation beneficiates from a South / south east exposure. It is the second largest appellation in the northern Rhone Valley, with 90% of the production being red wines.
Manual harvest, the wine is aged 12 months on fine lees in tanks or in 1 to 3 years old casks.
In the the hillsides of the northern Rhône, each terroir possesses its own identity and history, so much so that each plot allows for the creation of a unique wine.
It is to pay homage to this richness of terroirs that the wine makers have created this signature range, “Étoiles du Nord.”

Grape Variety: 100% Syrah
Tasting notes: At first, Les Granits Saint Joseph Red Etoile du Nord has a vibrant robe showcasing deep purple hues. Then you will enjoy a robust aroma reminiscent of red berries, cocoa, and toasted bread. Overall, the palate is rich and silky, featuring fruity notes that blend seamlessly with subtle undertones of wood and spice.
Food pairing recommendations: Serve the wine at 14C to 16C. Perfect with hearty meals with sauce or Duck meat. It will accompany deliciously cold cut platters but also ripened farmhouse cheeses.
