Purchased in 2012, Chateau La Creation Pomerol is the just second vintage from this Château La Creation. Indeed it displays all the rich voluptuous fruit and almost creamy texture that is the hallmark of Pomerol – the smallest and most sought after appellation in Bordeaux.
Just a little over 2 miles away from legendary Château Petrus and 1 mile from Château Le Pin in Pomerol, you’ll find a hidden little gem, Château La Creation.
Yseult Nony de Gaye, whose family also owns Château Grand Corbin Manuel in Saint Emilion, runs this 4.60 hectare estate on the north side of Pomerol.

Tasting Notes:
At first, Chateau La Creation Pomerol ‘s robe is most often dark ruby and purple hues in its youth and an appearance of brick hues with ageing. Then, the bouquet is quite rich and complex with notes of black and red fruits. Also note the presence of leather and vanilla.
At last, a perfectly balanced wine. Note the presence of ripe black fruits including blackcurrant, and sometimes truffles nuances.
Food Pairing recommendations: Game, veal, roast turkey, tagliatelle with mushrooms , truffles and foie gras are great friends with this wine.
