It has a rich honey amber color.
At last the finish is long and smooth. Overall it has silky smooth, with the sweetness of the sherry combining perfectly with the smoothness of the oak, and subtle hints of smoke.

Did you know Highland Queen Blended Scotch Whisky ?
Established in 1893 by Roderick Macdonald, Highland Queen whisky boasts a rich and storied history.
Indeed, Macdonald, a respected Master blender acquired the Glenmorangie Distillery in 1918.
The purpose was to supply whisky for Highland Queen under his company, Macdonald and Muir Ltd.
Next, inspired by Leith’s connection to Mary Queen of Scots, who arrived there from France in 1561, the Highland Queen blend pays hommage to this historical figure.
Mary’s reign, marked by an uprising against Elisabeth I of England in 1567.
It ended tragically with her imprisonment and execution in 1587. Today, Highland Queen is the official blend of Tullibardine Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, owned by Terroirs Distillers, one of the few remaining independent Scotch whisky distillers.
